Its been a hard week for me with all the usual work and running around. However this week I had added to that the sadness of a good friend passing away and planning his funeral. On a particularly hard day I had sat down to feed the baby right before pack meeting and Oliver went to throw something away. He told me the trash was full. I asked him to just push it down a little for me. So then he asks.."Mom, can I take out the trash?"

I almost teared up. Thank goodness these boys are taught to "Do a good turn daily"
Dave always goes all out for pack meetings. This time we made boats out of pool noodles for the rain gutter regalia. And the boys all "fished" for their awards. Im so thankful to have an awesome husband, and amazing scout leader and dedicated father all in one.
Also, since Coleman turned 11- he is officially a Boy Scout.
Dave is the 11 Year old scout leader. Dave wore his uniform and made Coleman wear his uniform even though they just had scouts at home.
